Grace Ingalls
Grace Pearl Ingalls Dow was born in Burr Oak, Iowa on May 23, 1877 as the fifth child of Caroline and Charles Ingalls. She was the youngest sister of Laura Ingalls Wilder known for her Little House on the Prairie books.

She worked as a teacher in De Smet, South Dakota school. On October 16, 1901, she married Nathan William Dow but they never had children. After her parents' deaths, she took care of her eldest sister Mary who was blind. Grace died in Manchester, South Dakota on November 10, 1941, at the age of 64.
