Goro is a fictional character from the fighting game series Mortal Kombat.

Goro was a Mortal Kombat character from the very start of the series. He is the Prince of the Shokan race, haling from the realm of Outworld. As a General in the Outworld Emperor Shao Kahn's militia, he fights for the pride and and glory of his people. He also has seven polygamous wives, possibly all Shokan women. Goro was a non-playable boss character in the first Mortal Kombat game, where he was infamously very difficult to defeat because not only did he inflict more damage with each hit than the other fighters, but he also moved faster.
