Gorden Tallis
Gorden Tallis (born July 27, 1973) is widely regarded as one of the best rugby league players in the late 90's and early 00's. He made his first grade debut for St. George on August 29 1992. After 54 games for the Dragons he moved to Brisbane in 1997. With the Broncos he won three premierships, played 160 first grade games and captained the club from 2001 until his retirement in 2004. Tallis caused controversy when he was the only player to sit out the 1996 Australian Rugby League season as a casualty of the Super League war.
