Glen Schwartz
Glenn Schwartz first came to the attention of rock music audiences as the original guitarist for The James Gang. In 1969, Schwartz, who had been voted one of the top five electric blues guitar players in a national DJ poll, left the James Gang to join Los Angeles based Blues band Pacific, Gas and Electric, and in 1970, scored a national top 20 hit with the song Are You Ready?.

In 1971, Schwartz became a Christian and left Pacific, Gas and Electric to join a pioneering Gospel Rock group The All Saved Freak Band, which was the musical evangelistic arm of a controversial Ohio religious group, The Church Of The Risen Christ.

Schwartz recorded four albums with the Freak Band before leaving the group in 1980, after being kidnapped by a cult deprogrammer and spending time in a mental institution.

Glenn plays every Thursday night at Hoopples, a rustic, blue-collar sports bar, located at the top of The Flats (West Bank) in Cleveland, Ohio.
