Giuseppe De Santis
Giuseppe De Santis (born in February 11 1917 at Fondi, Latium, dead in May 16 1997 at Rome) was an Italian film director of the Italian neorealism era. His best known feature film was the 1949 Bitter Rice (Italian title:Riso Amaro), starring Silvana Mangano.
