Giulio Tremonti
Giulio Tremonti (born August 18, 1947) is the current Italian minister of Economy and Finance under the government of Silvio Berlusconi.

A former professor of law at the University of Pavia, he first served as Finance Minister from 2001 until resigning in 2004. He was then reappointed to the position after Domenico Siniscalco resigned in September 2005. He was also Finance Minister in the first government Berlusconi headed, in 1994.
