Gerald Casale
Gerald Casale(born July 28 1948) is the bass guitar player, bass synth player, and one of the original members of the new wave band Devo. Gerald was not only one of the founding members of the band, with Mark Mothersbaugh (the two met at Kent State University) he was a co-writer of most of Devo's material (including the hit Whip It). He also created Devo's attire (including the Energy Dome, the plastic pomps, and the yellow radiation suits) over the years with Mark, and directed almost all of Devo's videos. He was supposedly the first member of the group to get laid because of the band.
