Gerak

In the science-fiction TV series Stargate SG-1, Gerak, portrayed by Louis Gossett Jr, is the leader of the Free Jaffa Nation, formerly the First Prime of Montu, a minor Goa'uld who once served Ra and later fell in with Baal when Ra was killed, and the current head of the Jaffa High Council. As the leader of the traditionalist faction he is the political rival of Teal'c.

Gerak is converted to Origin by the Prior who used to be the Administrator who ordered the execution of Vala Mal Doran. Gerak eventually became a Prior himself after seeing the power of the Ori in Celestis, the "City of the Gods" (according to the Priors).
