Georgetown, Kentucky

Georgetown is a city located in Scott County, Kentucky. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 18,080. It is the county seat of Scott County{{GR|6}}. The city is named in honor of President George Washington. It is the home of Georgetown College, a private liberal arts college.
