George Hoyningen-Huene
Baron George Hoyningen-Huene was a seminal fashion photographer of the 1920s and 1930s.
Europe
He was born in Saint Petersburg in 1900, from whence he was forced to flee to first London, and later Paris from the Russian Revolution. By 1925 he had already worked his way up to chief of photography of the French Vogue.
