George de Mohrenschildt


 

George De Mohrenschildt was born in Russia April 17 1911. He moved to the United States sometime in 1938. In October 1962 he met Lee Harvey Oswald and introduced him and his wife Marina to Ruth Paine in 1963. Paine helped Oswald obtain employment at the Texas Book Depository. In late 1963, De Mohrenschildt movied to Haiti after having testified before the Warren Commission concerning Marina Oswald's statement that he knew about Oswald's failed attempt to murder General Edwin Walker. In 1977 he returned to the United States. On March 29 1977, DeMohrenschildt was found dead of a gunshot wound to his mouth, possibly self inflicted.
