Gentry Lee

Gentry Lee is a Nasa Engineer and Science fiction writer. He co-wrote with Arthur C. Clarke the books Rama 2 in 1989, The Garden Of Rama in 1991 and Rama Revealed in 1993. He helped Carl Sagan in the 1980 series COSMOS. Rendezvous With Rama was written in 1972 and Clarke had no intention of writing a seqeul. Gentry helped turn the Rama series into a more character driven story following the adventures of Nicole Des Jardins Wakefield, who becomes the main character in Rama 2, The Garden Of Rama and Rama Revealed. It is also interesting to read in the final three Rama books about the various Aliens that have also joined the humans in the Rama spacecraft The Octospiders, The Avians, The Sessiles and The Myrimcats.
