Generation X (band)
Generation X was a punk rock band that was formed in 1976 by Billy Idol. Originally formed as Chelsea, they changed their name to Generation X and played their first show on December 21, 1976 at The Roxy. They broke up in 1981 and Billy pursued a solo career. The band's most prominent hits included "Dancing With Myself" and "Kiss Me Deadly".
