Gemma Jones
Gemma Jones (born December 4, 1942, in London, England) is a respected character actress on both stage and screen. Her father Griffith Jones and brother Nicholas Jones are also successful actors.

She was first recognised outside of the UK in 1976, after playing Louisa in the BBC television drama The Duchess of Duke Street. She later played Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson's mother, Mrs Dashwood in the Academy Award winning period drama, Sense and Sensibility (1995).
