The Geek Squad is a company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota that was founded in 1994 by Robert Stephens. It specializes in computerized technology support.

In 2002, electronics retailer Best Buy purchased the Geek Squad for approximately $3 million. Today, Geek Squad Precincts can be found in every Best Buy store in North America. Best Buy also sells a line of Geek Squad-designed computer accessories, such as assorted cables and USB flash drives, and Uninterruptible power supplies.
