Garrett Brown
Garrett Brown is the inventor of the Steadicam. Brown did special camera effects for the film Return of the Jedi where he walked with the Steadicam shooting film at 1 frame per second to achieve the illusion of high speed motion during the speeder bike chase. , "Bound for Glory" was the first motion picture to use the invention. Garrett Brown has done the Steadicam work on over seventy films and is currently Chairman of Steadicam and a trainer of Steadicam operators.
