Gambier is a village located in Knox County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 1,871.

Demographics

As of the census{{GR|2}} of 2000, there are 1,871 people, 278 households, and 142 families residing in the village. The population density is 768.5/km² (1,998.5/mi²). There are 305 housing units at an average density of 125.3/km² (325.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 94.07% White, 2.51% African American, 0.00% Native American, 1.28% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.43% from other races, and 1.66% from two or more races. 1.66% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
