Gallup poll


 
 

A Gallup Poll is an opinion poll frequently used by the mass media for representing public opinion. The poll is named after its inventor, the American statistician George Gallup. The poll typically uses a simple random sampling method in order attempt to keep the level of bias to a minimum.
