Today the common land that surrounds Fulmer to the south is the brand of leafy picturesque countryside that most people think of when they think of Buckinghamshire. Many films have been shot in this area, including Sleepy Hollow. The ford was the setting for the famous "Get out and Push!" scene in the classic Kenneth More film Genevieve.
