Full count

In baseball, a full count is the condition of a batter having exactly two strikes and exactly three balls. Another strike will result in a strikeout, while another ball will result in a walk.

A full count does not necessarily indicate that exactly five pitches have been thrown, as a batter may maintain two strikes indefinitely by hitting foul balls.
