Friedrich Fromm

Friedrich Fromm (October 8, 1888 - 1945) was a German army officer, best known as one of the conspirators to assassinate Adolf Hitler. After serving as a lieutenant during the First World War, he became chief of armaments and head of the defense of Berlin, a position he occupied for most of the Second World War. in 1944, he became involved in the July Plot, for which he was executed in 1945.
