Friars Club
The Friars Club is a New York City club now with nationwide branches famous for its risqué celebrity roasts. Founded in 1904, their motto is Prae Omnia Fraternatis, which is Latin for "Before all, brotherhood."
History
The most recent Abbot was the late Alan King. Previous Abbots have included Frank Sinatra, and George M. Cohan (twice).
