Sir Frederick Napier Broome (18421896) was Governor of Western Australia from 1883 to 1889.

He was born in Canada, and moved to New Zealand when he was 16 years old. Before being appointed to Governor of Western Australia, he had served as colonial secretary in Natal and Mauritius, including Lieutenant-Governor of Mauritius.

After serving as Governor of Western Australia, he served as acting Governor of Barbados in the West Indies and then Governor of Trinidad. He died in London in 1896.
