Frederic Remington

Frederic Sackrider Remington (October_4, 1861 - December_26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, and sculptor who specialized in depictions of the American West. He was born in Canton, New York. He spent a childhood hunting and riding, but began to make drawings and sketches of imaginative figures. The family later moved to Ogdensburg, New York.
