Fred Sonic Smith
Fred Sonic Smith was the rhythm guitar player in proto-punk band the MC5. He later went on to form the sadly underrated Sonic's Rendezvous Band, variously called "the best band you've never heard of" or "the one that got away". With Sonic's Rendezvous Band, Fred released only one single, classic Detroit rock song "City Slang".
