Frat pack
The Frat Pack (rarely referred to as the Slacker Pack) is a nickname given to a group of Hollywood actors, mostly men, who have appeared together in many movies since the mid 1990s. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The name is a take-off of the Rat Pack, a nickname given to a group of performers that included Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin in the 1950s and 1960s, combined with the shorthand term for a college fraternity. The implication is that this group is a cross between the cool, hipness of stars in the past and the sophomoric or outrageous antics of more recent stars.
