Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart
Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart (July 261791–July 291844) was a composer and pianist, a son of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and called W. A. Mozart Sohn (W. A. Mozart the younger). His father died before his first birthday, but he nevertheless received excellent music instruction: his teachers included Antonio Salieri and Johann Nepomuk Hummel. In the 1820s, Mozart was one of 50 composers to write a Variation on a theme of Antonio Diabelli. He never married or had children. He was named in honor of his father and his father's student and close friend, Franz Xaver Süssmayr.
