Frank Crowe
Frank Crowe (b. 1882, d. 1946) was the chief engineer of the Hoover Dam. During that time, he was the superintendent of Six Companies, the construction company that oversaw the construction project.

Born in Quebec, Crowe graduated from the University of Maine in 1905 with a degree in civil engineering. The University's Francis Crowe Society is named in his honor.

In addition to the Hoover dam, he built eighteen other dams, four of which were built after the Hoover Dam. However, Hoover Dam was considered to be his greatest success.
