Francis Wolff
Francis Wolff, and his childhood friend Alfred Lion, founded Blue Note Records in 1939. Besides his passion for jazz, Francis Wolff was also a renowned photographer of jazz musicians, and was responsible for the "Blue Note look" of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, as seen on album covers and posters.
