She was born Constance Francesca Hilton in New York, New York, the daughter of Hilton Hotel founder Conrad Hilton and Hungarian-born actress/socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor. Her three half-brothers are Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr. (1926-1969); William Barron Hilton (born 1927); and Eric Michael Hilton (born 1932).
