Fort Ethan Allen
Fort Ethan Allen was a cavalry outpost in the U.S. state of Vermont named for American Revolutionary War figure Ethan Allen. It was first occupied in 1894. Today it is the center of a designated national historic district straddling the border between Colchester and Essex.
