Fort Bragg is a city located in coastal Mendocino County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 7,026.

The city is the western terminus of the California Western Railroad (otherwise known as the "Skunk Train"), running through the Coast Redwood forests to the city of Willits, 40 miles inland, and also home to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens.
