Fordham Spire
Fordham Spire is a proposed 115 story skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. designed by Santiago Calatrava for Chicago developer Christopher T. Carley. The proposed plan would measure the spire at 444m (1458 ft.) tall at the roof, and just over 610m (2,000 ft) tall including the spire. This would surpass Chicago's Sears Tower as the nation's tallest tower, as well as surpass the height of New York's planned Freedom Tower which would measure out at 1,776 ft. tall. Fordham Spire's proposed completion would be in 2009. The Fordham Spire would have 200 to 250 condos ranging from $600,000 to $5million on top of a 20-story hotel.
