Flora (plants)
In botany, flora (plural: floras or floræ) is a collective term for vegetation or plant life, especially the plants of a particular region at a certain point in time. Abstractly, the term refers to plants considered as a particular group; concretely, a flora is a descriptive catalogue or treatise—usually illustrated—of the plants of a geographical area and/or geological period.
