Flipper (1963 movie)

Flipper was a movie that was made in 1963. "Flipper" the dolphin was actually played by the dolphin named Suzy. Later on the Flipper movie gave way to a series called Flipper which ran from 1964-67. A 1990s revival featured the actress Jessica Alba. The movie Flipper also got remade in 1996 (see Flipper (1996 movie)) and the little boy who befriends the dolphin in the movie is played by Elijah Wood. Flipper was one of the most famous dolphins in the world.
