Flextech
Flextech is a British television company. It is entirely owned by the British cable company Telewest and acts as its television programme production arm. Flextech own a number of British channels, available on Digital Terrestrial (Freeview), Satellite (BSkyB) and Cable platforms.

In July 2005 rumours began circulating that Telewest were being pressed to sell the company by the cable company NTL before a long anticipated merger could take place. A number of companies are thought to be interested in buying Flextech, including UK rivals ITV, Channel 4, the pan-european broadcaster RTL (100% owners of the UK's Five tv channel in the same month, July 2005), Hallmark Entertainment, Time Warner, NBC Universal and Viacom.

First round bids for the company were submitted September 2005, with Liberty Media and all of the companies already mentioned thought to have made bids. ITV was knocked out of the first round on September 18, 2005 along with Hallmark Entertainment, Channel 4 and 3i.
