Flamethrower
A flamethrower is a mechanical device designed to throw flames or, more correctly, project an ignited stream of liquid. It is used by the military and also by those needing controlled burning, such as in agriculture or other land management tasks. Many modern non-military flamethrowers do not utilize a burning stream of liquid, but rather ignite a stream of high pressure flammable gas, such as propane or natural gas, and are considered safer for agricultural, industrial, or recreational/entertainment use.
