Fiona Bruce


 

Fiona Bruce (born April 25 1964) is a television presenter in the United Kingdom. She presented the BBC News Six O'Clock News from May 1999 until January 2003, currently hosting the BBC News at Ten O'Clock, and has presented Crimewatch alongside Nick Ross since January 2000. Her debut on screen with the BBC was as a reporter for Breakfast News in 1992.

As a student at Hertford College, Oxford, she studied French and Italian. She began her career with the BBC in 1989 as a researcher and then as assistant producer on Panorama. Since then she has become a familiar face to BBC viewers on a variety of current affairs programmes such as Real Story, along with the celebrity game show Call My Bluff.
