First of all, although finedon is linked to the borough of wellingborough. 'Finedoners' are somewhat alienated from surrounding area's. There's jokes of Inbreeding, saying basically that 'Once a Finedoner, always a Finedoner'

From living here, the closest place that 'Finedoners' have connections with is Irthlingborough, though we're still deemed lesser due to being more of a village than a town.

In the past 3 years (2002 - 2005) There's been a general increase in activity and reproduction. In the sense that there're now more kids plagueing the street, there's more point in placing a business here. Years ago, it was a lot more conservative, we kept ourselves to ourselves and there were the odd teenage 'crews' which consisted of drug users/abusers though the past crew have moved on and we're left with car-owning show offs that take pride in basing themself in the car park of the recreation ground (commonly known as 'the rec') There is also the mini crew which is a term widely used for 13 year old girls on the streets drinking Lamborini hoping to get picked up by the guys with cars (see also: Slappers)
