~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Regular 131's were also baged as Mirafiori, after the production plant in which they were produced. Production of the Mirafiori sedan (2 door and 4 door) as well as the station wagon, included a 1300cc and 1600cc SOHC engines. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ From 1978 Fiat also produced an upgraded version called Supermirafiori, these contained DOHC engines. Diesel versions were made along with the 131 Racing. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The final revisions were made in 1981, all were produced until production ceased in 1984. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Fiat 131 Abarth was a very successful rally car it won the World Rally Championship three times, in 1977, 1978 and 1980. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
