Father, Dear Father is a British television sitcom about a novelist Patrick Glover (played by Patrick Cargill), and his two blonde daughters, Karen Glover (played by Ann Holloway) and Anna Glover (played by Natasha Pyne) and Nanny (played by Noël Dyson).

Father Dear Father in Australia, which is a sequel series to Father, Dear Father, was later made in Australia, with Patrick Glover (played by Patrick Cargill) and Nanny (played by Noël Dyson) reprising their roles for the Australian television sitcom. Patrick Glover and Nanny are called to Australia to look after Patrick Glover's two brunette nieces, Liz Glover (played by Sally Conabere), and Sue Glover (played by Sigrid Thornton), when their father, Patrick's brother Jeffrey Glover (played by Ron Fraser), has to leave home suddenly in connection with his work.
