Face Off is a variant of pool created by Jesse Caputo in 2003 and popularized at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. Instead of taking turns shooting a cue ball against colored balls to sink them, players simultaneously shoot one of the colored game balls in an attempt to sink (or pocket) the cue ball or the opposing player's game ball.
