Ewa Bia?o??cka


 

Ewa Bia?o??cka (born on December 14, 1967 in Elbl?g) is a Polish fantasy writer. She currently lives in Gda?sk. Her literary debut was her short story Wariatka, published in 1993. Since then she has written more than a dozen short stories, two of which, Tkacz Iluzji (1994) and B??kit Maga (1997) were awarded with the Janusz A. Zajdel Award, and another, Nocny ?piewak, nominated to this award. She also published one short story collection - Tkacz Iluzji (1997) and two novels, Kamie? na szczycie and Pio?un i miód, all of which are part of the Kroniki Drugiego Kr?gu series. She is currently writing a novel entitled Naznaczeni b??kitem, which is a new version of the Tkacz Iluzji short story collection, made more consistent with the other two novels. Bia?o??cka also writes Harry Potter fanfiction and creates stained glass works.
