Evil Under the Sun

Evil Under the Sun (published in 1941) is a mystery novel by Agatha Christie, and a 1982 film based upon the novel. It features Hercule Poirot.

Plot

The novel continued in the vein of Christie's earlier successes portraying the idle rich in a holiday setting.

It was set on an island at an exclusive hotel, whose guests include a glamorous actress who is shortly murdered. And Poirot, staying on the island, soon learns that nearly all of the guests had a connection to her.
