Evening Standard British Film Awards

Established in 1973 this film award is given to outstanding achievement in British film by the British newspaper Evening Standard. The annual ceremony is held at the Savoy Hotel in London. In honorary of Peter Sellers there is also a Peter Sellers Award for Comedy for the best British comedies and comedians.
