Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood (born Evan Rachael Wood September 7, 1987, Raleigh, North Carolina) is a film, television, and theater actress and singer of Jewish descent.

Her father, Ira David Wood III, (born on November 19, 1947) ran a theatre in Raleigh. Which is where Evan, at a very young age, got her interest in acting. Her mother, Sara Lynn Moore (born on March 6, 1958), is also an actress. As is her uncle Roger Moore, who was Sean Connery's replacement in several 70's James Bond Films.

In 1994 she lost the child role in Interview with a Vampire to Kirsten Dunst. She did get other parts in made for TV movies though. In early 1997 Evan, along with her mother and one of her 2 brothers, Ira David Wood IV (born on November 20, 1984), moved to Los Angeles where she eventually found success as Jesse Sammler in ABC's Once And Again.

Her most well-known movie role to date is as good-girl turned bad-girl Tracy in 2003's Thirteen, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
