European Portuguese

European Portuguese also known has Standard Portuguese is the main Portuguese language dialect used in Portugal. It corresponds to the dialects spoken in Coimbra and Lisbon. It is the preferable pronunciation used in Portugal and Africa, but also East Timor. Though Portugal, Africa and East Timor has a very wide variety of dialects. Brazilian Portuguese in relation to these dialects is not by any mean divergent as is commonly miss-understood in some English-speaking countries.
