Eurobasket 2005
The 2005 European Basketball Championship, commonly called Eurobasket 2005, was held in Serbia and Montenegro between 16 September and 25 September 2005. Greece won the gold medal, Germany won the silver while France won the bronze. Germany's Dirk Nowitzki was tournament MVP.

The FIBA European Basketball Championship is a bi-annual basketball competition between national teams organised by FIBA Europe, the sports governing body in Europe. This was the third time that championship was hosted by the city of Belgrade (previously in 1961 and 1975).
