Estadio Nacional (Chile)
The Estado Nacional de Chile (National Stadium of Chile) is located in the Ņuņoa municipality of Santiago, Chile. It is the largest stadium in Chile with an official capacity of 66,650. It is Chile's national stadium. Construction began in February of 1937 and it was inaugurated on December 3, 1938.

It was the site of the opening, quarterfinals, a semifinal, and final game of the {{Wc|1962}}. It currently serves as the home field for Universidad de Chile.

During the Chilean coup of 1973 it was used as a concentration camp holding 40,000 prisoners. The field and gallery were used to hold prisoners while locker rooms and corridors were used to torture and murder prisoners.
