Erik Breukink
Erik Breukink (born April 1, 1964 in Rheden, Netherlands) is a former professional cyclist. He made his debut as a pro in 1986. He turned out to be a time trail specialist and was a good climber. His wins included 4 stage victories in the Tour de France, while his best results in Grand Tours include a 2nd place in 1988's Giro d'Italia and a 3rd place in 1990's Tour de France. He also won the Tour of Basque Country, the DuPont Tour and the Tour of Ireland. He ended his career in 1997, after which he worked as a sports commentator for Dutch television for a while. Currently, he is the manager of the Rabobank team.
